Nawaf joined Levari in 2022 after the firm expanded to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Nawaf is a Collaborative Business Administrator with expertise in evaluating the
effectiveness and performance of teams and implementing incentive programs to
boost both productivity and morale. He is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-
day operations of a business and liaising between team members and upper
management to ensure the smooth implementation of new policies and procedures
among daily operations.

Eyad Zamzam

Associate - Corporate Team

Eyad joined Levari in November 2018 and has been a part of the Corporate and Commercial department.
His experience includes a wide range of corporate matters including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as Shareholders’ Agreements, employment, ESOPs, freelance, various services, and leasing documents. Eyad has undertaken legal due diligence exercises in different jurisdictions such as UK, USA,
and the MENA Region related to commercial transactions and real estate. He also handles procedural matters such as incorporation, registration, reorganization of
companies, licensing, and liquidation in compliance with the respective laws and regulations.
Also, he has engaged in offshore matters in different jurisdictions such as USA, UAE,
Netherlands, Cayman Islands, BVI, and UK. He has registered different trademarks within Egypt and US.
Moreover, Eyad has participated in the dispute resolution cases either arbitrational dispute between Investors and States or litigation disputes.
Eyad holds an LLB from Ain-Shams University-English division and is an active member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 2016.

Mohamed Raslan

Senior Partner

Mohamed has gained extensive experience in commercial law, litigation, investment, capital markets, banking and finance, tax laws, and regulatory advice.

 

He specializes in banking and finance working as in-house counsel for some of the largest financial institutions in Egypt including Commercial International Bank, Ahli United Bank, and Egypt Factors. Prior to founding Levari, he went back into private practice taking up the position of senior associate within the Egyptian associate office of Crowell & Moring LLP.

 

Mohamed received his LLB from Menofia University in 2004 and is an active member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 2005. He holds a master’s degree from The American University In Cairo.

 

He is fluent in Arabic and English.

Hisham Kassim

Jordan, Senior Partner

A seasoned corporate lawyer with almost 15 years of experience, Hisham has successfully closed over a hundred private equity and venture capital transactions and currently represents some of the most prominent family offices, private equity, and venture capital firms in MENA.

 

Hisham is also a published scholar in major U.S. law reviews and has launched several pro-bono clinics for MENA startups in Jordan, West Bank, and Egypt. He also serves as pro-bono counsel to several medical non-profits in the region including the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

 

He was admitted to the bar of the District of Columbia in June 2008. He holds an LLM from the New York University School of Law, a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law, and a BA from the University of Virginia.

 

He is fluent in Arabic and English.

Hamad Bin Salmeen

UAE, Partner

Hamad is a Partner at Levari and is a UAE qualified lawyer with the right of audience before the Court of Cassation. He has over 15-years of experience in litigation specializing in maritime, civil law, corporate law and banking transactions. Hamad has represented some of the largest companies and corporation in the UAE including El Suwaidi Group.

 

In addition, he has established Al Mashreq International Advocates in 2007 prior to the aqusiation by Levari. He is also responsible for all litigation and UAE law related matters in Dubai, UAE.

 

He is fluent in Arabic.

Ahmed Barakat

Egypt, Partner

Ahmed joined Levari in April 2021 as a Partner and Head of Litigation.

 

Prior to joining Levari, Ahmed was at The Egyptian Prosecution Authority where he served in various prosecution offices for six years. He joined the Judiciary in October 2015 and specialized and issued judgements in cases involving tax evasions, customs evasions, white collar & financial crimes, real estate, breaches of trusts and various cases under Egyptian laws.

 

Barakat holds an LLB from Ain Shams University, English Division and in 2018 received his Masters from Pennsylvania State University.

 

He is fluent in Arabic, English, and German.

Yasmin Alafaliq​

Yasmin Alafaliq is the Co-Founder of Elaqat for Corporate Services, a one stop shop that focuses on foreign investments by providing company incorporation services to foreign companies that wish to expand into the Saudi Market.

 

In 2022, Yasmin joined the Levari family by becoming the firm’s appointed partner in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 

Yasmin is an experienced lawyer with extensive knowledge of the Saudi Arabian laws and regulations which are supported by a degree in Law from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She takes pride in providing the best services with the highest of quality.

 

Yasmin holds bachelor’s degree of law (LLB) from King Faisal University in 2019.

Bandar Binthwayni

Bandar joined Levari in 2022 after the firm expanded to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As a Partner and Co-Founder at Elaqat for Corporate Services, Bandar has been in charge of building and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships. He has also developed a good understanding of how to investigate the needs of different clients, with respect to their industries and work culture. From organizing the operations procedures for companies in KSA to negotiating with the relevant Saudi governmental bodies and ministries, Bandar has been in charge of finalizing arrangements between all involved parties in a timely and efficient manner that aligns with the needs and objectives of the clients.

Bandar holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Development and Finance from Al Yamamah University.

Ahmed joined Levari in 2023 and specializes in the Dispute Resolution department.

His experience includes engaging in local and international dispute resolution cases, which allowed him to grasp a wide range of expertise in litigatory matters in Egypt and UAE. Additionally, he handles litigation matters in various fields of law such as criminal law, civil law, tax law and administrative law. he also engages in local and international Arbitration cases where he handles client meetings, negotiations and drafting of different type of legal memorandums.

Amr Hareedy

Amr joined Levari in 2017, he specializes in the Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions practice since 2017. Hassan Nashaat

Hassan Nashaat is an Associate at Levari Law as an active member of the litigation
team in the UAE.


Hassan is a qualified lawyer and member of the Egyptian Bar Association and joined
Levari in 2020. He has six years of experience in law firms in Dubai and handles
several matters pertaining to various practice areas such as Civil, Labor, Lease,
Criminal, Family, Commercial cases.

During that period, Mohamed handles clients' corporate matters such as corporate
governance, employment, and intellectual property matters. As part of his training, he
attended court hearings in Egypt and in the UAE.
Mohamed advised Levari clients over the last 6 years in different matters from
negotiation to contract drafting and reviewing across the MENA region some of which
is related to commercial advisory matters, regulatory projects, merges and

Marwa Hegazy

Marwa joined Levari in April 2022 as the Senior Partners-Executive Personal Assistant.


In juggling the complex schedules of different senior partners at the firm, Marwa is responsible for arranging required meetings, creating long-term schedules, handling

She is also responsible for delivery of efficient administrative support services, providing guidance for operations and management of administrative staff. Ensures the office’s

Nouf Albaz

Nouf is an Account Manager with expertise in forming strategic relationships, managing key accounts, and enhancing profit channels. She is also responsible for expanding professional networks, exerting influence on decision-makers, and creating likely effective strategies. Over the years, she has gained expertise in client-facing positions and customer relationship management to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.


Nouf obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics from Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh in 2020.

Sherif Hefni

Senior Partner

After gaining valuable management experience in the city of London, Sherif undertook postgraduate qualifications in law allowing him to be called to the Bar of England & Wales and qualifying as a Barrister. Sherif has undertaken extensive legal work at the International Labour Organization in the UN in Geneva, ICT Lawyers, and Crowell & Morning offices prior to founding Levari LLP in 2012. His area of expertise is in mergers & acquisition, corporate restructuring and investments, as well as international arbitration.

 

Sherif holds a BA (hons) in Business & Psychology from the University of Northampton (UK), a Graduate Diploma in Law from Oxford Brooks University (UK), the Bar Vocational Course from City Law School-University of London (UK).

 

Sherif is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, member of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators, member of American Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Institute of Directors.
