Laura Bradford Off Counselor
Laura is graduated in 1997 with honors from Stanford Law School. She is a U.S. qualified lawyer specializing in intellectual property, corporate and commercial law. She serves as the Intellectual Property Counsel at the American University in Cairo, where she negotiated the first university spin-off of a start-up in Egypt and advises the University on intellectual property matters. She also teaches in the AUC Law Program.
Before coming to Egypt, she was associated with Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City, representing media and technology companies in mergers, acquisitions and licensing transactions and intellectual property-related disputes. She has taught as an Assistant Professor at New York University Law School, George Washington University Law School and George Mason University School of Law.
She has an honors graduate of Yale University and Stanford University Law School.
