| Illegal Use of Our Name

It has come to our attention that Levari Law Limited (“Levari”) name and/or the names of our lawyers have been misused in illegal scams. Fraudulent emails, letters, and phone calls have been circulating, falsely using the Levari name and sometimes the names of individual lawyers within our firm.

| Latest Update: August 2024

Please exercise caution if you receive any unexpected or unusual communications claiming to be from a member of our firm. Genuine emails from Levari use the domain "@levarilaw.com". We are aware of attempts to use domain names similar to ours to impersonate our lawyers and other employees. If you are uncertain about the authenticity of a communication, please contact us to verify its legitimacy before responding or taking any further action.

Fraudulent communications that misuse our name often attempt to deceive victims by suggesting that a meeting, job opportunity, or other benefits can be obtained by paying an upfront fee. Other schemes may involve fake demands for payment related to non-existent claims, accompanied by counterfeit documents bearing the firm's name or the names of our lawyers.

| Common Scams Include:

- Emails purportedly from Levari attempting to redirect invoice payments to unauthorized bank accounts.
- Notifications of inheritances from overseas or from unknown relatives or individuals sharing the recipient’s surname.
- Offers of security work or visa services related to employment in the Middle East.
- Bogus review websites.
- Fake barristers misusing our name.
- Contracts purportedly drafted by us concerning Middle Eastern business sales.
- Offers of internships requiring payment of an "administrative fee".
- WhatsApp messages purportedly containing an electronic contact card for one of our partners inviting the recipient to discuss a new transaction.

Please note that Levari is not involved in any of these transactions.

This list is not exhaustive, as new scams are continuously being developed. We urge you to remain vigilant for your own protection. These scams are designed to steal your money and/or personal data for use in other illegal activities. They may not request money or personal information in the initial contact but often do so after eliciting a response.

| Important Notes:

-Levari does not use Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, or similar email addresses.
-Be alert to communications involving typo squatting (i.e., domains with similar spellings to our official website) and other forms of domain mimicry by fraudulent actors.

We recommend deleting scam emails and not responding to scam letters. If you need to verify the authenticity of any communication, please do not hesitate to contact us.
