A dedicated team, led by four Directors and collaborating with Operations, Procurement, Information Security, and Compliance, is responsible for implementing the Policy.
The Firm is committed to upholding human rights for all stakeholders, including partners, directors, employees, and contractors. To mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain, we have implemented the following measures:
Supplier Assessment and Due Diligence: We conduct rigorous assessments of our supply base to identify potential risks related to human trafficking and forced labor across various dimensions, including reputation, finance, information security, data privacy, legal compliance, business continuity, and procurement. Comprehensive due diligence is performed on suppliers, encompassing inquiries about their fair sourcing policies, employment practices, and, where appropriate, requests for policy documentation.
Ethical Business Practices: Our code of ethical business practices, shared with key suppliers, outlines strict standards of conduct, including prohibitions on bribery, corruption, human trafficking, and slavery. Adherence to this code is expected from all suppliers.
Staff Training and Awareness: Mandatory training on modern slavery and human trafficking is incorporated into our employee induction process. Ongoing training and refresher courses are provided to enhance staff awareness and understanding of our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Supplier Contracts and Audits: We incorporate contractual clauses requiring suppliers to certify compliance with our Anti-Slavery Policy and reserve the right to conduct supplier audits to assess adherence to these standards. This provision is now explicitly included in our code of ethical business practices.
Vendor Management System: Our vendor management system maintains comprehensive documentation, including supplier declarations regarding their anti-slavery practices and supply chain transparency.
These measures collectively demonstrate our firm commitment to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking from our business and supply chain.
